i made a point earlier about re-reading posts before submitting them, i feel this rings true here.

matchday commentary is a different animal though, quick bursts of action can happen one after the other - remembering and writing this as fast as possible for the benefit of readers isnt always so easy.

when i am in work and not meant to be on here... its literally as quick as possible a post, and i dont intend to check it !!

really dont see the difference ... even if one is high tempo

You reffer to a few points of which i was the member who said them and in no shape or form did i attack you.

I simply stated the text talk was annoying.

i noticed Foreverblue got a similar welcome. saying if fernandes wasnt signed in 24 hours he would be banned etc.. when he was only trying to do good

im not saying what happened in either case is or was right, i have been chatting with ghost in numerous threads for an hour or so, and i know that at times he can be really really really hard work. (gravesen, anichebe, horne) i acknowledge that you feel hard done too, and agree it wasnt the nicest welcome you could have had, on behalf of those responsible i offer my apologies. regards the thing around FEB and gaz, i hope thats been put to bed, mistakes were made in a few places and hopefully we have all now learned.

i said nicely im not a big fan of text speak, and outlined my reasons without pushing.

i had a chat about 'tact' the other day, at the time i was shot down, but im hoping to get there eventually.

well said suits, you seem rather wise !!!

Honestly im not in the slightest bit wound up etc. but thought it had best be said as i do believe its a little bit double standards, and that the way newcomers are introduced could be handled a lot better.

I dont know all the inns and outs of the toffeeweb GOT split but from what i heard it was a little CLIQUE that formed that caused it... and that although fun for certain people is not healthy for a site !!
 
a valid point, and ground i wouldnt be too happy commenting further on.

wink wink, nudge nudge, point made, glad you have chosen to stick around and persist. im not that wise, not that wise at all.

numerous people attacked me when i did certain things, and if people remember i then ended up kicking off because i was pissed off.. and then it got sorted and died down

Well for me and I think I made a good point is that this site isn't a text site, its not populated by kids, and don't take that the wrong way, I don't know how old you are, but text speech is generally used by school kids.

We have users from all over the world who don't have English as their first language, so they may struggle with some of the words. Obviously text speech has its place as shorthand for quick posts like game updates.

But for opinions or thread starting posts, surely a more articulate approach may be more suited.

Also Tomoz is something you may say in person, but again this site isn't regionalised to Merseyside, and it may not mean anything to others.

I don't want to fight because I just don't care that much, I'm just throwing a reason in why we should all try and communicate on the same level, and that level isn't text speech.

i didnt accuse you, i said i thought it was you, but couldnt remember !! its your hostile personality that makes me think it was you...

ill have a look and see if i can find the post, but i cant even remember the topic it was in
