Then perhaps you shouldn't name names if your not certain, all your doing is fanning flames that don't need to be fanned. Remember this thread was started by you, so any hostility is at your own doing.
 
Ah yes because im going to take it nicley that you've started a thread about how people are forcing you out and attacking you, then claiming it was me.

We have users from all over the world who don't have English as their first language, so they may struggle with some of the words. Obviously text speech has its place as shorthand for quick posts like game updates.

But for opinions or thread starting posts, surely a more articulate approach may be more suited.

Also Tomoz is something you may say in person, but again this site isn't regionalised to Merseyside, and it may not mean anything to others.

I don't want to fight because I just don't care that much, I'm just throwing a reason in why we should all try and communicate on the same level, and that level isn't text speech.

no that is fair enough, my problem is ... it appeared i was attacked from numerous levels and parties for stuff that to be honest.. was not as half bad as it was made out !!

by this is makes the newcomers very unwelcome! i agree, text talk can make communicating a little awkward on occasions.. and i am 24 for your personal reference!

but although when i speak on msn to my friends i say "tomoz" as far as i am concerned i cannot remember saying it on this forum

The extent of my text talk is probably fink / tho / c / becuz / and a few others, but again hardly worth the big go that arrose from it !!

The thing some people dont realise, is that, attacking people when they are new for many different items, (which remember they are new and dont know exactly what to expect) tends to push them away and make them think, [Poor language removed] this !!

i apologise, but as this tends to be a male populated forum, i kind of presumed ! me bad:P

but i didnt accuse you of anything else... i just said from what i remember it was you.. ill try and find the post now !!! to settle this

Well Jon, maybe maybe the fact you have the enemy as your signature may also give a subliminal point of view to some people. :)

I was using Tomoz as an example, not saying you used it.

at the time ghost, you point, however valid was lost in a wealth of tactless comment.

sorry to point it out, thats how i felt at the time, and it forced me to post my dislike for text speech in an ultra nice way.

Jon, if it's any consolation, a few members have been told not to use text speech, you're not being picked out for criticism it's just something that's not encouraged on this forum for reasons already stated, hang around mate and keep posting.

i understand that.. and i did request a new sig the other week, and again as i didnt have 50 posts i got slated cause it wasnt in the media topic.. but anyway...

if someone can do me a good sig ill update it , but for the mean time its going to have to stay !!
