Indeed. I'm pretty sure we all see it...Megamelon has been on the case for a long time.

On topic...the 'headless chicken' comment kinda got me. Offers a bit more than that IMO.

Not really a fair comparison. Mirallas was bought three years ago and he was a risk. He's also prone to niggling injuries which means he'll probably have averaged 30 league games per season over his time here.

In retrospect Mirallas was a bargain but he just as easily could have been Pienaar to Spurs gash.

It kinda is a fair comparison though. Lennon has been mediocre for his entire career; we're all getting excited over the fact he's had two good games for us. I would say at this stage he too is a risk. If he continues to perform well in the remaining games then fair enough, but even then I don't regard him as a replacement for Mirallas - the two of them together would be the only two wingers in the squad worth putting on the field.

We should re-sign Kev, no question. He is the best winger at the club, and one of the better ones in the prem. Even if we DON'T want to keep him, we should be extending his contract to ensure that we get a better price for him. Then sign either Konoplyanka or Ayew on frees, ideally both; then sell McGeady and Pienaar. I suspect Moyes would take Pienaar for a million or two... McGeady can go to Scotland as part of the deal for Van Dijk (we can dream). Then we think about signing Lennon - when we are in a better bargaining position.

Lennon versus Mirallas, has to be Lennon for me,one player wants to play for Everton and is a team player, the other one
wants to play European Champions League football and plays for himself, Mirallas might be surprised when he sees
which clubs want to sign him.

But who in the name of Zeus' butthole would pay £3m for McGeady?

A promotion team or one in the bottom half. We got 6m for Jelavic and Anichebie. Teams down that end have a hard time attracting players so someone like McGeady would be a good signing for them.

McGeady isn't an awful footballer. He's just not good enough for us.
