Aaron Lennon ( On Loan January 2015 )

How much would you pay for Lennon in the Summer

  • Up to the rumoured 6 or 7 million - worth every penny

  • No more than 5 million - he's OK, but not worth any more

  • No more than 3 million - he's got no end product ffs

  • Wouldn't take him on a free, he's badly gash

  • Stop asking me questions and stick the grill on

He's slightly better than the donkeys we have on the flanks at the moment (ignoring mirallas)...doesn't mean we should sign him.

It just shows how poor our other options are.

Who wouldn't when you see McGeady, Atsu or even Naismith playing there earlier in the season.

Controversial but for me I would sign him up and utilise him behind the striker, his crossing is too poor to be a winger imo but When he runs through the middle his pace and vision is very effective.

Fantastic end product he has.

And who said he did? Pipe down with the "a few fans are easily pleased" with the shyt that the players have served up this season isn't it o.k to just appreciate a fella putting in a shift, trying to make things happen, running at a defence with pace and not taking 18 touches only to just pass it sideways?

I think that's o.k in my book and I'm not even saying we should sign him. I'm just saying he's been a breath of fresh air these past 3 games and looked infinitely better than some of the dross the other players have served up.

Another excellent performance from Lennn. I knew he worked hard before we got him but until you see it your shirt for a full 90 mins you don't really appreciate it.

Coleman looks far happier about going forward as well as he knows Lennon has the pace and desire to track back and help out if a move breaks down.

Spot on about Coleman, has actually resembled a PL right back past 3 games with Lennon in front of him. Sometimes it's about combinations and partnerships which are for the greater good.

I like him, he has his uses and the fee should be small change considering the wedge every club now has. Then again the old poverty line will probably make an appearance from the board this summer

Wasn't Baines's day today - his passing was poor but strangely his corners were good, wish he could combine the two. However he too has looked a lot happier having Osman in front of him, not for the same reasons but our two fullbacks work best with slightly different partners.

Wouldn't class Kanchelskis as a lazy player.

Lennon is like a mosquito, buzzes around a lot and inflicts a tiny amount of damage but isn't scary at all.

If we are playing this system we need 2 wingers who have an end product either creatively or who can score. Otherwise goals will not come.

Having someone like Lennon on the right isn't going to worry the opposition and we need wingers to put the fear of God into defences to give Barkley and Lukaku space and allow the full backs to push up.

Not really, Kanchelskis was lazy, with a blistering turn of pace and an end product that most wingers would kill for.

Have to agree. But if we're offloading McGeady and Mirallas, then we need bodies and he'd fit in the squad.
