He was actually delighted but our PR people thought his smile was 'weird'
Don't know why I'm laughing so much at this
Definitely windIS THAT A SMILE?!?!?!
Worries me greatly that he allied with Adebayor.I would have kept him.
Unfortunately, in the 'Great Kane v Adebayor' dressing room war of 2014-2015, he (& Capoue/Kaboul) nailed their colours to the wrong mast. By all accounts he realised the error of his ways but it was too little, too late.
Players like Kane are the future of our club while players like Ade are merely mercenaries.
Word is that following our defeat to Newcastle at home in Oct, Adebayor & mates he had invited into the dressing room were laughing & joking & generally in high spirits. Kane called him on it, reminding hime we had just lost a match & that it mattered to some people & Ade tried to mug him off (ie, basically told him to know his place - Kane wasn't a first team regular then). Ade thought the other players would back him up (i believe a delelegation even went to see Poch) but apart from the ones mentioned, they & the manager sided with Kane.
Beginning of the end.

And I don't mean to be insensitive, but was it a racial thing? (Capoue/Kaboul/Adebayor share a French commonality, and by all accounts they're unsavoury mercenaries, but throw in Lennon who seems like a good pro and is English and there is only one remaining obvious thing in common!)
Mcgeady isn't better at anything he isn't cut for the prem and will be moved on to Scotland in summer imo.
Lennon is miles better especially if he gets his confidence back.
Lennon is very unselfish too so its only going to benefit lukaku. he is better than all our wingers bar mirallaa
He looks sulky on pictures when he was a kid at Leeds and in new Spurs kits if you check google imagesSulky git. He can leave that big time charlie head back in London.
