How much would you pay for Lennon in the Summer

  • No more than 5 million - he's OK, but not worth any more

  • No more than 3 million - he's got no end product ffs

  • Wouldn't take him on a free, he's badly gash

Can you blame him?

He has probably looked up Everton on Google and came upon GOT.

Logged in for a look see and saw all the crap posted by the Negative Normans before he has even kicked a ball fior us :(

If we signed Heskey right now, you'd judge him based on what you'd seen of him. You're not going to say he's definitely going to be absolutely atrocious for us, but your first impression has to be of what you've seen of him before.

Same here with Lennon. All we have to go on is his performance at Spurs, and to put it lightly he's been terrible for the majority of his time there.

It's perfectly reasonable to be pessimistic about him.It's not even like McGeady, where there's the X factor of how he'd perform in a better team in a better league - Lennon has played at a high level in the same league, and been generally awful throughout.
 
I'm in my 60's, have a squinty eye, partial deafness and trouble with my bladder, and I'm better than McGeady. The only fact I can see worth remembering is that he isn't good enough for Spurs. Everything else is spin.

Not that anyone needed evidence of reduced expectation but here it is in physical form.

Think it's a decent signing if we weren't in such a bad run of form and league position and instead going for 4th or 3rd finish people would be made up with this signing
