Not heard anything from Martinez, just assuming we aren't going to completely ignore the possibility of strengthening in January given he went on about signing a Number 10 for so long.
Here's hoping
I'm pleased we signed him. In the modern football world £4.5m is absolute peanuts. To put that in perspective a little Bournemouth have today signed a 31 year old Glenn Murray for £4m, and Sunderland have signed Borini for £8-£10m.
We can't go wrong with this transfer. At the absolute worst he's a good back up in place of McGeady. At best he could repeat his form from last season and become one of our more important players.
People always whinge that Martinez doesn't play Mirallas and Deulofeu together, but a side with those two in lacks balance. They're both all out attacking wingers and they limit the effectiveness of our full backs, and also leave us open. And before someone pipes up with the "HE DOESN'T PLAY ANY WINGERS THOUGH", I believe that neither Mirallas or Deulofeu have been fully fit so far this season.
Such a well written post like that though is wasted on you utter rock throwing neanderthals, though. I'd like my 5 minutes back please.
to all those who think/hope Lennon is just going to be some kind of random league cup option you are sorely mistaken. This player is going to start week in week out just as Barry and Cleverly have been unacceptably shoe horned inNever change Kev.
Do you ever stop whinging?I'm sorry to all those who thin

Yeah, in retrospect that now seems like something of a hasty statement.Ha ha ha.
It reduces the possibility of McGeady ever pulling on a royal blue jersey again. I'm happy with that.we've replaced a poor winger with an average winger, so i guess its an improvement but not really one which is going to have any major effect on where we finish in the league... so ultimately a bit pointless.
Good evening Mrs. McGeady.I like lennon loads better than mcgeady
