Robertson was an excellent buy but only had 1 year left on his deal with Hull, who were completely bust.

The other deals were done in 2016 and 2015 respectively, IIRC. A lot has changed since then.

Yeah let’s wait and see. And to be honest, I’ve only seen him play when we’ve played against him so I can’t really give an assessment. If we buy him, let’s just see how he plays before we judge. As many fans state “we were all happy when we signed him, so it must be a good signing. If he’s turned out crap, he’s still a good buy because at the time, we were all happy” nonsense (some crazy argument brands fans give) Let’s just see whether he excels or doesn’t before we assess.

May not see him brought in unless on a cheap last minute if we are after James too now. Could have be a ploy to get Allan done or even as a back up lined up if Allan dragged on to long. All 3 are different types of players so I cant see why it would be a ploy mate.

Rodriguez can play out wide so I imagine he'll be out on the right with Allan/Doucoure in the middle or a midfield 3.

Doucoure looks essentially to be our 2nd choice after Hojbjerg.

Yea agree but its more about the outlay of funds but Im happy if we can make it work . Still need a RB brought in which will now be a loan no doubt. They must have buyers lined up for the dross and assume Bernard will go now to free up more wages

It's a lazy signing yeah we could do a lot better for our moneys worth but it gives us a solid base to work with Allan and gives us a bit of physical presence and someone who steams forward, Think it will work out if we can get Allan though, JPG/Gomes and these two is something to work with considering we've been riding on Davies and Gylfi for the past season.

People do seem to forget this.
