At least Tom is showing a bit of promise lately, but boy could we use that 3rd guy to partner Allan and DOUCS. I want us to get to the point where we rarely get horribly outclassed in the midfield.

If we opt for someone like James or Siggy, we have to have 3 midfielders that can battle physically and defensively. I like how far we have come though. Much better than last year- even with Allan injured

His energy was absolutely superb today, was all over the pitch putting out fires. Yes a few balls went astray but he literally runs all over the gaff and wins the ball back.

Basically played out on the right in the main and just got on with it.

His stamina is absolutely incredible and that probably is his main job in many ways, he is truly abysmal on the ball however. Even more exposed to that when on the right of a diamond.

Absolutely- as soon as I see him attempting a pass longer than 5 yds I get concerned. Stamina to burn mind
