Hardly flawed. I like both of them, doucoure is a better player than davies, but davies can do a job. This is the point of having a squad. Last time we played Chelsea, we had allan, doucoure and siggy in midfield. (Despite the general view that siggy is awful - he isnt) What I'm saying is, we can manage. How many times this season has carlo found a solution?

Look at the wolves game when siggy was up top. Against Leicester, we played with davies and gomes as our midfield. We have some injuries, we have done for most of the season. But players have lifted their game including davies. Would I prefer doucoure, of course, but davies has been in form recently as well.

Exactly this, it’s not a case of being reliant on one or two players anymore (maybe with the exception of up front purely due to numbers in those positions). All the midfielders have their flaws. That’s why we brought in somebody of Carlos experience. To create game plans to play to whatever players are available strengths. It’s almost like he hasn’t done this for the majority of the season. I’m confident that whatever the result later it won’t be down to one/two players missing
