He’s surprising me Doucoure, I was made up we signed him as it was obvious we needed a monster box to box man in a midfield which was all too often overran. Doucoure is such an athlete that I was sure he would fit the bill, and indeed he has. I have, however, been surprised and delighted with his football ability, this big unit can play a bit as well.

I thought exactly the same his positioning is excellent tactically, he was like a brick wall yesterday.

It would appear he is going to be a 6/7 out of ten even when he has a bad game.

He is essential for the way we play as he constantly mops up opposition counter atatcks

Right now it's all about the big clubs and the young players coming out of France. He is neither of those.

He seems like a great professional and teammate. I hope playing for Everton can help him finally get that France call up.

....they are a top side, very fluid in movement making it very difficult for Doucoure and Allan but they stuck to their task.
