Harsh to expect him to impose himself more fully WITHOUT Allan alongside him. If anything, his performance was all the more impressive for keeping the Arsenal midfield under control in the absence of the Brazilian dynamo.

Honestly, they were that poor in the first half I think he could have done it without anyone near him. They overloaded in the second half which is why he REALLY didn't do anything but first I think he could have done more.

Just come from page 73 a lot of ammo for the vaulters from less than a month ago! It’s amazing that a player could take about 10 matches to find his feet at a new club. Who knew!

He’s really stepped it up again which is great to see. Always a worry when a player hits a run of poor form and it continues. It’s a good sign, hopefully more to come. He could be the key for us over next few weeks taking control of the midfield.

Really could do Holgate being moved into midfield and give him a few days rest in this busy schedule.
