I think he needs to offer a lot more when we're in possession. The team is struggling to pass forward and he's making runs forward beyond the striker. Maybe that's a tactical thing but whatever it is I don't think it worked tonight.

Its definitely a tactical thing. Davies and Sigurdsson were hanging deeper and he was told to go up so Dom wasn't so isolated. Didn't work most of the match, untill the goal of course.

I thought Sigurdsson was doing the same thing on the other side of the field but the sentiment seems to be he's playing well and I don't really feel like going at it in his thread. Same criticism for him but without the effectiveness that Abdoulaye can show without the ball.
So yes maybe tactical but not good.
