Yes.
He's like a changed man lately. His spirited & motivated display certainly has me convinced that something has changed at this club, looks sharp as well. Same with some other players, like Keane.

He’s always been that, that was never in doubt and I never criticised his desire or athleticism.

His distribution was pony, he’s improved that massively. That’s down to him

He’s definitely a Brands signing - even if it was Silva who suggested the signing, Brands followed through under a different manager and deserves the credit.

Of course. It was not a computer simulator that designed the system, but Ancelotti. However, he adjusted the system based on who played. At times, AD served as a cover for JR.

What is constant here, however, is that we always had low intensity and aggression in the pressure, and when we won the ball there were too many backwards and sideways passes before a rocket came from a CB.

AD sometimes fell victim to Ancelotti adjusting the system to JR. At other times, like many others, he fell victim to the fact that Ancelotti did not have an effective system.
