He had a bad night, but he isn't consistently bad, so I give him a free pass.

It also happens regularly when a player comes back from a solid injury, they perform first up, like he did against City, and then have a flat second game back.

I expect him to be in the better players against Wolves at the weekend.

Bang average again. The guys a coward to, passes back or side ways 90% of the time.

Yet listening to some of our fans,
You’d think we snatched him
From under the noses of city, Liverpool and Chelsea

he was playing well under Rafael when he had a free license (and Allan didn't)

now he's trying to fit around van der beek and allan.

when we play 3 in the midfield, wingbacks are higher and so that's an area of the pitch they attack in not through the middle.

Since Koeman was in charge the amount of players we supposedly swept in for to beat a “big six” club to the punch is extraordinary. It’s almost a full XI. And none of them have been or are any good.

Just right. So why do some here think managers have been wary of using 4-3-3?

No point getting on the backs of our own players mate. He’s going through a rough patch but over the past 2 years he walks into the RS XI…only midfielder they have better than him is Fabinho

Thought he'd be one of those players who, despite not exactly being a silky smooth footballer, would more than make up for it in physicality and athletisicism. Sadly mistaken, bar the odd game against terrible opposition.

He is what he is.
A midfield player with excellent physique and good legs to get around the pitch but technically very limited.
Much better suited to pressing teams and getting into the opposition box.
