I don't think enough gets said about how terrible this guy is.

He's scored some goals and his positioning in the box is useful, but on the ball I'm having he's the worst CM in the whole league, he literally nearly falls over his own feet just running with the ball.

Of lampards many faults, putting this guy ( along with Keane ) was one of the few things he called right.

Away from home when we’re sitting deep he slightly more effective. When we need to take the game to teams at home it’s like playing with 10 men.

He’s an atrocious player, totally lacking in any skill or technical ability. No wonder Ancelotti let him nowhere near the ball and just told him to be Rodriguez legs

Its the same old. He will have a game where he gets into the box and have a looks dangerous day. But then have 5 or 6 games where his lack of technique will be a massive detriment to the team. Over a full season thats far more negative than positive.

Needs to keep starting away as he scores and pops up in very good positions a couple of times each half.

Maybe impact sub at home, we'll see on that. Would still start him next weekend although there probably is no place for him if going with two CFs.

He alternates dramatically between somewhat impactful and bambi on ice

With his contract running out we really need to figure how to play without him. Won't get many matches like today to experiment.

I think he did ok. Could have been a bit more precise - but loads of energy and kept us on the front foot.

They have good energy and are crap at football as well
