The fact of the matter is - as I said - without Doucoure and his goals these past 2 seasons we'd be in the Championship and possibly League One.

He scored one crucial goal. Doucoure has popped up with 11...so far.
He is no world beater (when did we last have one of them?) but . . . we have 99 problems and Dacoure ain't one of them. We would have to be 100% sure that we could secure better before even considering not renewing his contract.

He can be infuriating sometimes but he scores goals (6 in his last 8 away games!) and must be horrible to play against the way he presses like a mad man for a full 90 minutes.
