….seemed ‘uncontrolled’ yesterday, symptomatic of the team performance. I think it was just too much for them all and the early goal made it worst.

The role he's deployed in is totally ineffective in the majority of home matches.
If Dyche is going to insist on setting up the same at home then the Doucoure role defo needs someone with a better skillset, we are playing with 10 men at the moment. The set up is completely wrong at home, hence the worst calender year of results in our history.
Doucoure works away from home, the system works away from home (though it isn't pretty to watch)
But at home, like you mention Doucoure is just a spare part and very rarely has any kind of influence (last game of the season apart of course!)
A certain injured player returning could very well help assist there...If Dyche is going to insist on setting up the same at home then the Doucoure role defo needs someone with a better skillset, we are playing with 10 men at the moment.
He isn't the player he was, if we are relying on Dele to save us then god help tbh.A certain injured player returning could very well help assist there...
LOL I thought he was referring to OnanaHe isn't the player he was, if we are relying on Dele to save us then god help tbh.
Doucs playing CDM would be interesting, for about 15minutes till he got sent off, hes not very good at tackling.wouldn't doucoure's pressing be better suited in the CDM / CM role which garner currently plays
wouldn't garner's passing and creativity be better suited in the CAM role which doucoure currently plays
why not swap garner and doucoure's position and see how it goes
100% agree mateLOL I thought he was referring to Onana
Dele will never seen the pitch for us
Yeah it was a disgrace mate there were a few naughty challenges from their players that went unpunished too they were trying every which way not to let us win that gameAbsolutely. There was a communication that went out this year, in that players who 'kick the ball away' (can't think of exact wording) will be punished by yellow cards. The marking of the moment it is considered an offence to do so is signalled by the refs whistle. There was two occasion that they did that, as clear as day, yet the ref let it slide. That was a clear deliberate decision by the referee to not apply the laws of the game, driven in my opinion, entirely by the colour of their shirt. To make it worse, he books Doucoure for bringing it up with him.
