I felt with the penalty thing that it wasn't a pen for two reasons. First reason is that Yates pulled him first and secondly Yates wasn't near to where the ball was landing so it wasn't an infringement that affected play.

Remains a walking penalty as that was nailed on. We got properly lucky with that decision

Really important for us, and he leads the high press well which caused them issues.

But his passing more than 5 yards was awful. And lucky to not give away a pen.

Not his best game but worked hard.

Positional awareness is his strong point along with endless running and pressing. It is easy for people say he lacks quality on the ball but without him we would be in a worse place. The only way he can be replaced is with someone who equals his attributes plus being better on the ball

Just me then that thought he had the first touch of a silk glove on Saturday. Some of the one touch control stuff had me second guessing my eyes.

Back into centre mid tonight and had my doubts, he's played a blinder, cracking finish as well. Limited, but so what, so are we and he's done absolute bits for us.
