The fact that he turned up for two games to try and sneak into a World Cup squad and bailed is the point here. Saying he’s not played in more games makes it worse, not better.

He said publicly he wouldn’t be going so I’m wagering he was told they were set to include him. Maybe not. Doesn’t matter because he still said what he said, and what he said was disrespectful and makes it clear the type of person he is.
