But unfair lad, as fans none of us want our better players sold. But the fact is that our finances are in an awful state and those in charge may feel we have to accept the money for him.

I mean personally our style of play completely restricts this question. I don't like Cornet but he did well in that second striker position for Dyche so maybe could do a job on loan. Our entire team crumbles when we lose a player who has, largely, done sweet FA in his near 4 years here.

18 months on his deal, double hamstring injuries for a player whose entire game involves running, and just turned 31. £20m is his price. We got less than £10m for Gray from the Saudi's.

Everton are ran that horrendously I can't see them turning it down personally.

Potentially, but thats not the situation. They are Saudi and it is Gerrard. And he's one or our better players at the moment.

Palace last game was the first game we've won in a year without him btw, so regardless of his age of what he's actually "worth", he's worth a lot to us and our bid yo stay in this league.

Richarlison was worth more than 50 mil to us lad but the finances of the club dictated we had to accept less than he was worth to us. Could be the same with Doucoure.

Personally, I really don't want Doucoure to go but I just wouldn't be surprised if we accepted 20-25 mil given our situation.
