He does my head in but he is nowhere near one of the worst players we have ever employed. Probably not even in the top 100!

even if Doucoure plays every game till the end of the season he won't have as many appearances as Tom Davies x

He's odds-on to be a Premier League player once again next season. 😆 And if rumours are correct Sheffield United might be making a move to sign his buddy Jonjoe Kenny on a free transfer from Hertha Berlin as he's out of contract.

So he is the worst half decent player we have had then? I can kind of see that.

I would still have the likes of Davies, Schneiderlin, Stephen Hughes etc ahead of him (or below him I suppose).

At some point people might need to start looking at the players that have been playing consistently over the 5 years that we’ve been relegation battling fodder, and say “maybe these players are the reason we are relegation battling fodder”.

Schneiderlin 100% better. Had some good periods and was moved on much quicker.

Davies only had 90 starts in his 156 games. Doucoure has started 131 times. Davies was also a young developing player for a period of that where you would want to get him minutes and endure the bumpy periods. Doucoure was supposed to be a player from the start and never was. Davies started 6 games after he turned 23. Doucoure was thoroughly worse imo.

Some of them had at least an amount of redeeming qualities where maybe in the right team or with a better set of managers you could get something from them. This guy was never that. He just runs.
