TX Bill
Player Valuation: £80m
Playing in a 1/3 game tonight. Started with $200. In the space of 10 minutes, was up to $300. Table started getting a bit crazy. Raise, reraise, etc.... One guy was a guaranteed raiser.
Decided to bide my time and wait for something to trap with.
Woke up with AA and was second to act. Took a risk and limped in for $3. Got a bit nervous as four other callers for $3. Got to the big blind (the guy who was a guaranteed raiser) and he popped it $25. Two folded in front of me.
I re-pop it to $100. Everyone folds and he calls pretty quickly (he's an action junkie).
Flop comes K, Q, 3 rainbow (no flush draw on the board). He shoves "All-In" and I insta-call him.
He turns over Kc 10c. I was an 83% favorite preflop and an 80% favorite post flop.
Hits his 10 on the turn.
I need an A, Q, or 3 on the river.
Miss.
Stacked me.
Drove home absolutely steaming but you win some, you lose some. Tired of hands not holding up though and worse, tired of donkey calls getting paid off.
Ah well, that's poker. Those of you that play know my pain right now. It'll be ok tomorrow.
