Did people on here think he was going to come on and grab the football match by the scruff of the neck? Because I sure as hell didn’t.
 
My god the agendas some of you have against him are bewildering and concocted completely off "journalist" reports and twitter no marks. He was fine and is never going to be like DCL who over pressures and gets himself out of position at times trying to work hard. Add on to that the fact he's just coming off an injury and it's no wonder he didn't put his foot in at every opportunity.

Didn't he set up one of our goals and would've set up another had it not been preseason and Walcott not pulled out of a through ball?
 
TBH I think the players that aren't new have been around 2 manages that have stunk the place out, I'm not including Unswortn. I think especially that might have got to the younger players, Lookman and Davies over the time they have been in and out the first team at times they have performed well, but over that time we have had some tealky rough times, let's hope we get everything sorted to our satisfaction this week squad wise and forget the friendliest results and go and get wolves them move on. I'd like to see 4 youngsters get a fair bit of playing time Davies,Baningame, Lookman and (not that I have rated him up yo now) but I think this season could be good for DCL.

We were quite close to where the players were warming up before possibly coming on as subs today and I don't think I've seen such a half ars**d attempt at doing so from a player in a long time. Really lucky to get ten minutes from the manager after seeing that but then that may have been his "agenda" in that he would then have had further reason to request a transfer. If he can't be persuaded to get on board with us very quickly then its probably best he moves on but this should be on terms which favour the club. Would be an absolute shame as I think he will/would thrive under Marco Silva

Noticed that myself, just strolled around looking miserable whilst everyone else warmed up!
 

For what it’s worth he spent plenty of time after the game signing autographs and posing for pictures with young fans outside. He was very chatty and polite. Probably doesn’t mean much but other players avoided this- no Jags, Pickford or Sigurdssun for example- so Lookman presumably could have just snuck out at the end if he was desperately unhappy rather than spend 20 mins signing autographs.

To be honest mate, I was in the main stand MS1 and that’s where all the subs where, he didn’t look happy or interested although did wave to the Gwladys when they sang his name. Maybe it’s just his way to look a bit miserable! Maybe he was nervous...
