All jokes aside, he can legitimately be extremely good. Like proper proper good. He's had a weird time since coming here, he's a young kid, head was probably just a bit of a mess. Think the whole 'attitude' thing has been overblown - remember how everyone was talking about what a shy, humble hardworking kid he was up until this summer. He'll settle.

Hopefully.

Did you not see him during that preseason game? The ‘attitude thing’ wasnt overblow at all, he was directly and intensionally acting in a way he knew would disgrace us.
Should play with the kids for the whole season and be given a shot next year. Maybe he’ll learn, cause acting like that is not okey in any professional setting. Id loose my job on the spot if my boss saw anything even similar from me and Im a carpenter for gods sake.

They tend to be indulged nowadays...hope Silva will get rid of that attitude

Haha it disgraced you? Should be starting week in week out and if he isn't by October Marco hasn't done his job.

You can't just spend the whole day playing football if you're a carpenter.

He's quite unique as an English footballer. He has fantastic balance due to his low centre of gravity, has incredibly quick feet, has a good turn of pace and is a cool finisher in front of goal. These are physical attributes that can't be taught.

I watched a lot of the games in the U20 world cup, including all of England's, and I would say that Lookman was possibly the most exciting player on show. It's not often you would say that about an English player which is why I think he's unique.

What we don't know is whether he has the right attitude or work ethic to make it. When I say attitude I'm refrying to work ethic and willingness to listen and learn from his coach and other players. Sterling strikes me as a similar type of character as regards his personality and in wanting away from Anfield. But he has still developed fantastically under Pep. I'm hoping Marco can have a similar effect on Lookman, plus I reckon he can learn loads from the likes of Bernard and Richarlison.

All this can be solved by just giving him opportunities, its not rocket science.

Reckon its nothing to do with the club, Silva, the city etc. He didnt get a look in here, went to Leipzig who gave him more opportunities there in a few months than we did in over a year. He comes back here and we sign a £40mill player in his position and another Brazilian international who has played there a good bit. He's bound to be disheartened.

The problem is that Silva is telling him he's wanted and he will get opportunities but Lookman doesnt know that for sure, where as at Leipzig he knows 100% that he will.

Reckon once the season starts and he (hopefully) gets a good bit of playing time then he will be happy.
