Reckon its nothing to do with the club, Silva, the city etc. He didnt get a look in here, went to Leipzig who gave him more opportunities there in a few months than we did in over a year. He comes back here and we sign a £40mill player in his position and another Brazilian international who has played there a good bit. He's bound to be disheartened.

The problem is that Silva is telling him he's wanted and he will get opportunities but Lookman doesnt know that for sure, where as at Leipzig he knows 100% that he will.

Reckon once the season starts and he (hopefully) gets a good bit of playing time then he will be happy.

Much easier to criticise than try and understand. People spreading false rumours to whip up the anger doesnt help either. To me it looks like a young lad desperate to play football and feel wanted. Silva and Brands are saying the right things but Leipzig have proven it.

We need to backup our words now and give him playing time.

Got to earn it first on the traing pitch, if he has, he will be picked....not rocket science.

Of course he has. But no matter how crap someone was or the team was last season he wasnt even given a chance. The one game he did play was the EL tie and was MOTM.

Im just saying how deflated he must be going from regular playing time at a good young team to square one again, this time behind a £40mill signing and a Brazilian international. Its understandable. Once the window shuts we need to give him what he's missing providing he earns his spot.
