The fact he says they’re still in talks means we haven’t just flat out said no.

How about if we signed Lozano or a replacement then sold him? Not saying we should but clearly there could be other reasons why we wouldn't just say no.

To be honest mate if anything it shows how desperate they're becoming. Rangnick has said what he's said hoping Lookman will realise he's got to force the move because normal negotiations are a no go.

He won't go short of a ridiculous offer. Brands has said he likes and wants him. He's young and not on a massive wage so I highly doubt he's part of the cull list they'll have drawn up. RB Leizpig simply can't afford the money we'd demand and they know it.

Or, it most likely means we have said no, but RB Leipzig are pestering us with a few inquiries, so that way they can claim "Talks are ongoing" and tap up the player making it look like theres a possibility.

Beginning to loathe them, I mean, who actually announces they are "still in talks" about attempting to transfer a player? Thats a really wierd thing to announce like that, unless you mean to cause trouble.

Possibly, I hope so, I really want to see him being given a chance this season.

Just complain that they’ve tapped him up like every other selling club does in this situation.
Bit of advice for the boy Ralf, if you want him you’re going the have to offer more than £14m.

I think we'll have to go some to keep hold of him - and if we do, we absolutely have to factor him into the 2018/19 season.

None of the messing around where we bring him on with 5 minutes to go and get disappointed when he doesn't score a brace.

He needs a real promise of investment, in the form of time and development (probably a slight wage increase too). If we do that I'm confident he'll stick around.

If we put him back into the fold after a fun season out in Leipzig, where he's actually been able to play football - and not warm a bench full of Steve Walsh's misfires - I think he'll force it in Jan or July 19.
