Because Ryan Giggs he is not. Bet any money he will be an 'almost' like Lennon.
He'll get a chance when it's time. He just has to be patient and when his chance comes, perform well. We know he's capable.
If we are to keep Richarlison upfront, Bernard Sigurdsson And Walcott behind him then you'd think Lookman will get a look in off the bench soon enough

True, but he was doing the same against top flight German teams last season.

I dont agree with this at all.
What is wrong with his attitude? All i have ever seen is a few lads jumping the gun and making presumptions about him.
Did he agitate for a move? Bad mouth the club? Hand in a transfer request? No.
Anytime he has got mins for us as far as i can see he has tried his heart out.
All the lad has ever done was back himself to move abroad and get mins bar sitting on the bench kicking his heels, and he was right. Fair play to him i say.
Breaking this down the lad has done zero to have his attitude or character tested.

If we keep him in January, I'd like to see him getting more starts over Walcott (performances permitted) as I feel he has a higher glass ceiling and has more to his game potentially.

This is just typical of us, to question attitude, criticise or put down young players who are not perfectly matching the early careers or success of Giggs, Rooney, Owen, Ronaldo etc...
He's done nothing wrong apart from maybe, like Davies, have a slightly dodgy fashion sense lol
But there's no reason to write him off yet, in fact we need to try and hang on to these guys to make sure they don't think that being in a short-term volatile situation at Chelsea, Man City etc is good for them. The 'top teams' have a revolving door policy with managers, and unlike Fergie, Wenger, maybe Simeone and Barcelona's approach, there's no top team that really looks after and nurtures young players. Why they don't have the patience to realise that Everton can look after them, and then they can go to Man U or wherever at the age of 25 ..I just hope he's getting the right advice and sticks with us, because our front 3 is not going to be the same for the next 3 years, and we will get into Europe, have cup runs, etc, so Lookman will have loads of opportunities. I'm sure he's just going to keep his head down and work - there's no evidence of any bad atittude !
