I think Lookman wants to be playing week in week out and I doubt Silva will give him that - he's even been playing DCL out wide over him. I just cant honestly see him getting much of a chance mate especially with us out the league cup.

He's got big potential but I do think he's a tad over rated by some and if Leipzig offered anywhere near £25 million again we would be daft not to take it and reinvest elswhere.

Spot on lid. DCL is a striker and Silva sees him as that. He only played on the LW as he was resting players and we had injuries. Lookman is next in line if one of the front 4 gets injured or falters and is the first name of the bench if we want to add attacking threat now. He should get plenty of game time between now and the end of the season, its up to him to grasp his opportunity.

Lookman will definitely get his chance. There are now only 4 players for 2 positions, Walcott, Lookman, Richarlison and Bernard, and the last two may be used centrally, so there are loads of opportunities ahead.

I am sure that it revolves around what is happening every day at Finch Farm.
If the manager is taking a keen interest in the player and his development, if he is being coached and being told about what is expected from him in a game and told of the plan for his progression into the first team then I expect he may feel wanted and more settled... even if he isn't in the first team at present.

Lookman didn't play every week at Leipzig but felt wanted there. I get the sense that maybe he is settling better at Everton now. His chance will come, he just needs to be ready.
