Maybe. Sorry if it is but it’s a genuine bugbear of mine. People saying ‘you’ve got nothing bigger to worry about’ when actually you’ve got loads of much more important stuff going on but you’re trying to just talk about football for a bit. In my opinion the other poster is the obnoxious one but fair enough I shouldn’t bite.
To be fair I thought he was simply hinting at the utter nonsense that’s on Twitter these days (don’t have it myself).
No I’m sure he was, just pointing out that I didn’t say ‘ the most worrying thing I’ve ever seen on Twitter is...’, I was just mentioning twitter posts in the ademola lookman thread so I wasn’t sure Why we needed to suggest that of all the things I could be concerned about in the world I’d chosen to pick a 20 year old footballer.

Out of all our promising youngsters , Lookman despite being probably the most naturally gifted , is the one who who needs the most coaching and developing. At times in his interviews he looks shy and lacking in confidence, but out on the pitch he appears to have bags of confidence. But there’s still a lot of development to do on him and I imagine he’s not getting the same individual attention he got at RB Leipzig - that’s based upon my thoughts that Silva is getting to grips with a whole new set of players whereas at Leipzig he joined a settled team mid season where they could work with him individually more.
It looks like Silva has got the players he wants to play the way he wants, and there’s no reason to think Lookman won’t be in his plans. His performance for England u21 was encouraging in that he played well in a right wing position linking with two Everton players, while recognising that the Andorra team was obviously not very strong. He becomes a good option to cover Walcott or Bernard/Richarlison from the bench.

Im all for selling the crap in the squad as soon as possible, however its clear alongside the gash that Lookman wants 1st team footie and he aint getting that anytime soon. If we keep him as he currently is playing the odd 5 minutes here and there his price and stock will only fall.
Take the £20-25 million now.
I'd start easing him ahead of Walcott over the course of the season, as long as he performs. There's nothing wrong with Walcott but being 29 he isn't gonna get any better and imo is a bit basic. Lookman has a higher skill ceiling so should be given the chance.
