I wouldn’t mind seeing him start, but I’m not sure he gives us the runs in behind or the playmaking that Walcott and Bernard bring. Would love to see him get a shot though.

So your saying don't play someone from the start because he might not play boss like he does every time he comes on? Weird. He a 10x better on the ball than Walcott is. Something at home 8s valuable
Not sure if he actually deserves his shot as of yet but I would like to see him given a shot to see if he can stand up to the test of 90 mins and show he has consistency in his game. Walcott is the likely victim but feel Walcott has just lost his touch at this moment.

Kind of agree with this. His best performances in the shirt have been when he's come off the bench and straight onto the left. Let's work with that I say.

for example if you sub richarlison he will play better no matter what but for players like lookman nor bernard they are not top quality like richarlison. and they will look better if they are subbed in late on, with fresh legs they can be handy aganist tired defenders. like lookman today he was good and energetic took advantage of tired chelsea players if you subbed bernard he would do the same impact maybe even more
I partly agree with this, most youngsters with skills like his shine when making an impact off the bench. What he has shown though when he starts for England U20s/21 is that he’s prepared to work at it for the full 90 if needed, tracking back , defending etc. The base is there to be worked on , this is where Silva and his team prove their worth by making him into a player who can start a PL match and last 80 mins, we’ll need him to start sometime when injuries come along.

100% agree. I Wouldn't be against seeing him play instead of Walcott against Cardiff but I would rather him come off the bench in the derby and do what he did today against tiring legs.

What impressed me apart from football technique was his tactical awareness to defend. He soon got back into defensive position once not in possession.
