Need to see Lookman or Bernard on the right instead of Walcott.

Those 2 need to be starting...then we know it we need a Lozano or not.

Walcott certainly shouldnt be near the 11.

Nope, it doesn't work like that at all. Different players offer different skillsets.
I’d say that playing poorly is a pretty fundamental part of why players are dropped. Walcott has been woefully bad for ages now.

You’ll see the popular debate amongst Evertonians, with a vast number saying they want Walcott out for Lookman.

Are we all wrong?

I'm not saying there's a right or wrong.

But we're going to Anfield, and we'll be playing on the counter. Lookman, if he plays on the right, doesn't really offer the pace in behind that Walcott does. He likes to get on the ball and drop a bit deeper.

We already have one of those players on the other side, so it's better to have a balance.

I don't think Lookman will start, but if he does, I'd wager it'd be for Bernard.

Without Walcott we don't win against Cardiff last week.

Lookman wouldn't have made the run that Theo did for that goal.

Never been a fan of Walcott but the simple fact is he needs to play, his experience dictates that. It's also a valid reason to have Lookman start popping in to the starting lineup if Theo doesn't perform today. It's all on him (Theo) to show Lookman what he has to do to get in the 11.

Lookman was the core reason that Sigurdsson got that goal in the cup early this year.

Yes, because he was on the ball and running with the ball. Not without it...

Walcott offers pace in behind that Lookman doesn't. Lookman is very good running with the ball but isn't at his best running without it - he's not going to outpace TAA or Robertson.
