Ademola Lookman

He offers no goal threat and doesn't make runs in behind. He doesn't want to win enough. He looks like your standard overrated overhyped English talent unfortunately.

You can't keep failing to take chances and continually moan you don't get enough chances. This is top flight football. We don't have time for someone so poor to improve. SELL.

My biggest issue is his attitude. He doesn’t seem arsed about us one bit. He’s probably kicked off he hasn’t played much under previous managers etc but a young player should be giving it there all for every second when on the pitch.

At the same age Raheem Sterling was taking his chance and looked a much better player.

We’ve over hyped him so let’s sell him whilst his value is still quite high before he ends up on loan in the championship.

I've seen few players who can beat opponents as easily as he does.

Needs to add other dimensions to his game too, like others have said, such as making runs in behind (something that Theo does very well).

He's coming along. Will be very good, I'm sure.

I agree but it must be hard sometimes always coming into a game late on when you have no personal momentum and quite often the game is at an erratic stage looking to equalise/win.

..they should be straining at the leash though, Nymzee. Desperate to make an impact against tiring defenders, he’ll know the crowd want him to do well.

I know Walcott gets a lot of stick but his game is simple in that he looks to get beyond his defender and exploit the space behind the back four. It’s very effective, Walcott goes where the opposition don’t want him to go. Lookman has real talent and should maybe learn to utilise it in similar fashion.

That’s why I think, if he ever gets a permit, Onyekuru might be effective. He seems like he enjoys getting behind.

The type of winger I love the most and defenders dread are those that are glued to the touchline like Leroy Sane.

Needs a run of games. Never gonna hit form if he is not in the team for 5 or 6 games on the bounce. Walcott awful again last night aswel as most

He has got 30 odd minutes in pretty much every single game for the last 2-3 months.
has not started 2 games in a row though. He should be given a run of games. Not as if Walcott is performing . Never see the best of him coming into games especially when we are as bad as last 2 games

I don't really agree with this. Football is football regardless of what time you take to the pitch. He has had decent minutes and he has shone in places but not consistently enough. He knows he is coming on, usually around the 60 minute mark and usually for Walcott.

I don't think he has been bad or anything, but there is a struggling player in front of him who is prone to losing his place right now if anyone can step up to the task so he really should be going for the jugular and ending any debate on who should be playing. He has not done that so far.

I'm certain defenders dread those that come off the line as well, like Sterling, Hazard and Mane.

Which is why Walcott should have stayed on the bench and Lookman started again last night as well as the rest of Dec games.
