I hope with a run of games Lookman will disprove that. Bernard and Walcott have both been disappointing really.

He shows some good stuff occasionally but it rarely comes to anything. Inconsistent as well. Shocking composure when he has chance to shoot. He’s not a bad player, but i’m not sure he’s that great either.

I like Bernard, but today showed while he will never score goals in the prem, he’s not a clinical attacking player that’s for sure.
The Richarlison knock back, totally on his heels and not anticipating, should have had a tap in. Abs the one in the 2nd half, does brilliantly to set up the chance for him self, but to then kick it of for a throw in from about 8 yards out was ridiculous.
I’m not sure how many goals he got in the Ukraine league, but I don’t think it was a lot. Can’t play as one of the front 3 moving forward. Them 3 who ever they are in the future have to be getting a minimum of 50 goals.
He was boss against Burnley, played well against the RS,had a good game against Leicester, and IMO he's been a bit hit and miss in the games in between, supposedly though his stats say otherwise to my opinion.

True but neither was Pienaar (for example).
You can get away with a player not scoring many if we are getting goals from elsewhere.
In an ideal world none of those positions are guaranteed and you have 5-6 interchangeable players competing for those roles all trying to outplay the other.

He may be on to something actually.
Instead of watching the game with a proper set of eyes I may just jib it off and save myself the hassle by looking at the ratings the next day in the paper. That way I can make up my own match in my head.

Very poor, considering he played for the best team in a average league.
Giving someone limited time increases pressure imo. Remember having trials and knowing that I only have a short window of time to impress, and it effected me as I tried to hard to score or do something and I didn’t play like I usually do. Same has got to be with someone like lookman only 1000x more pressure. Knowing you have half an hour to impress or you’re back on the bench next week will leave him feeling pressured and uncomfortable. He has looked lively and created and got assists and in some games has changed them, and still he’s dropped for a player like Walcott that isn’t producing . He should have been given a 10 game run where he was first choice unless he completely didn’t contribute for a few games. He got that at RBL and scored and assisted and he obviously loved it. Will be criminal to watch him leave and succeed after we never actually gave him a real shot

First of all, he isn't a CF.
Second of all, he led their team in goals in the CL his last year.
Third of all, he had 6 goals in 19 appearances in the domestic league.
For a guy that's not a CF, that's pretty good. Beyond that, they were the best team partially due to him. He wasn't a bystander.
