Lookman can only do so much if he isn't on the field. What I don't understand and will never understand is why we never are willing to give him a run of at least 3 or 4 games to get into the flow of starting. One game against Newcastle and he's dropped again just like with the managers before. Give him a fair shot at least. Bernard has what 15 starts and he's really only played well 3-4 times but we never give Lookman that luxury.

Probably because we were on a good run of form at the time.

There is probably a reason why a bunch of managers have not gave him that run yet. Even at Liepzig he wasn't starting every week. Still only a kid though so that's perfectly normal.

He had 7 starts at Leipzig in 6 months and he has 10 here in all competitions in 18 months. It isn't hard to figure out why he may have been able to produce more when he was there.
 

If he isn't injured and we are actually selling him just remember we didn't give him any run of games so that we could play these players in his position: Gylfi, DCL, Bolasie and Bernard. Hopefully Bernard comes good or Lookman doesn't because if he fulfills his potential somewhere else we will have been gigantic idiots.

I could be wrong but to me it's convenient that he was injured all summer until right after the window shut and then he's mysteriously injured in training again in the last 10 days before January. Let's just see what the happens in the next 10 days.

And even then he wasn't injured a month ago when we still weren't really creating much.
