I still think he has a part to play and if he does leave it would only be if we get premium dollar and a ready made replacement in imo (such as 25m and see if PSV except that amount for Lozano as an example)

Youre comparing Walcott to Giggs? Two totally different styles.

Walcott has worse than 1 in 5 for us...thats not great.

And he was at Arsenal who won a lot of trophies during his time there and finished top 4 almost every season.

They won 2 FA cups when he was there. That's all. (I would take it but its hardly loads is it?)

Scored in one of the finals too actually.

They did indeed get top 4 every season, Walcott played loads of times for this team who always finished top 4 so to be honest I don't really get your point there?

Are we talking about Richarlison, Kanchelskis or....Theo Walcott ?

Mate, 2 seasons with double figures for one of the greatest premier league teams ever isnt WOW.

Not much in it really Zat.

Rico 55 apps 14 goals 0.25 goals per match
Andrei 151 apps 42 goals 0.28 goals per match
Walcott 303 apps 71 goals 0.23 goals per match

Lookman 26 apps 1 goal 0.04 goals per match

I bet you hate it when stats make you look a bit silly.

Until he is given a run in the side we wont see the best of him. I think he needs this run to build his confidence , but I fear Silva hasn't the confidence in him.

He really needs to take the (red) bull by the horns and make it so Silva can't leave him out.

It's all very well showing some flashes of brilliance (and he has) but he needs to give Silva no option.

Only 1 goal for Look an, but he did score in a Europa game. Would his 1 goal look as bad compared with minutes instead of matches? How many starts in his 26 apps and how many consecutive starts? I was crying out for him to get a run, but we did score 5 without him, so I dunno! Being an armchair manager is tough!

I don't think he has that in him tbh, i think it will always only be the flashes of brilliance from him, he just seems that sort of player. He has a lot in his locker, no doubt about it, but if you watch him, he wants it on a plate into feet all the time, everything seems to have to be perfect for him, then when it is he will just fly past 3 defenders like they are not there. An odd player, i don't really get what what he's about tbh

Now compare his stats for US...you know the club we support...where he has worse than 1 in 5...

Richarlison and Kanchelskis are far superior

No, 2 trophies mate. Honestly, 2 FA cups.

I agree its good, Walcott played in many of those games so he must be good right?

Thought he had 2 league cups or at least charity shields? :p

I think he was able to have chances laid on a plate for him most of the time...i mean if Kanchelskis or Richarlison played in that Arsenal team they would have been around 20 goals...i would hope.

Walcott and Kanchelskis stats are remarkably similar actually...

so again you are chatting utter wham.

Andrei Kanchelskis 20goals in 52 games
Theo Walcott 6 goals in 33 games

*note that Kanchelskis was poor 2nd season as he was waiting for a move to Fiorentina.

But youre right, spot on, and decisive when you compare Theo Walcott with a world class right winger.

I'll put it down to you never having see Kanchelskis play.

World class.

It's probably good to not that in those 26 appearances Lookman has only actually played 750 minutes or about 8 games worth of time because we refuse to ever start him. I think that's important to look at if you're doing stats and all.

Brands has said in the second part of his echo interview that he doesn’t want to destroy the potential of DCL, Lookman and Richarlison by bringing in a big money player who will block their progression.
