Always wanted Lookman to get a solid run because his potential is unreal but at this point I would be happy to see a decent fee accepted with a nice sell on clause just in case
For 22million you’ve broke even on Gomes (that’s still wild that we got him for 22 isn’t it) and freed up some wages and a winger spot for someone who’s willing to work at it, hopefully Malcom!

It’s annoying because first of all it seemed to be that he couldn’t settle because he was homesick. Then he goes to Germany and flourishes with first team football so it obviously wasn’t homesickness. Then he’s given numerous opportunities by Silva but by all accounts doesn’t give 100% in training. If he’d gone to a London team I could have accepted this one but it seems we’re going to lose a talented player who basically can’t be arsed playing for us but will happily turn it on for Leipzig.

Never knew with Lookman whether he would become a decent consistent player. If he was anywhere near good enough or worked hard enough he wouldve been in the first team no doubt. Maybe he doesn't have that work rate we need.
