I had high hopes for him and still think he could become a good player but he never played and we’re getting a good fee for him. Wish it worked out but this seemed inevitable, probably good for all involved.

No. He doesn't play as well for United because that team is dysfunctional. And he is still their best player by some distance. Blaming that club for not being good anymore is not on Pogba.

Why is this even being brought up? If anything the fact that Pogba can win titles at Juve while being the biggest tit in world football shows how incompetent our management must be to not be able to control Lookman enough to get him on the field for 5-10 starts just to see if he's any good or not. I feel like you've helped me out here. Pogba at Juve is the perfect example of how you can make it work if the management is good.

I don’t disagree with you.. just the point is all of them played in front of anyone that was already at the club.. to the extent other players sat out for extended periods. To make my point better... sept to Feb was the as diabolical a football as any predecessor had achieved in the last 4 years... those lads didn’t miss a beat in the starting line up.
 
Good. Never looked that good. Virtually needed twice as long on the ball and twice the space he got.

Flat track bully, sulked when challenged.
 

Would have preferred binning Walcott first but he never really wanted to be here anyway
Think with some of the silly fees being thrown around I was expecting a higher fee but in reality it may have only been the energy drink scruffs in for him anyway

They have coached him and observed him in training and given him games when they felt he had earned them same as any other player. If you don’t impress in training it’s very hard to progress at any club.
I think Lookman is a good player with potential to be better. But it isn’t just how good a player is , it’s also how he fits into the team and how well he complements the managers style of play.
It appears Silva and Brands have decided after coaching him for a full season that he is not suited to their plans for the team , that is their call, and what they are employed for.
