Ademola Lookman

In fairness I put Lookman in 90% of my predicted matchday teams, I was baffled that he wasn't getting games.
It genuinely never made any sense, still doesn't make any sense, and to me was almost so nonsensical that I can understand him losing his mind in the same way I'm pretty sure Lossl lost his mind watching Pickford. It doesn't make him slacking off right or a good thing to do, but I don't hate him because of it like others.

It's good for him. He hasn't actually played badly at all and he needs to go somewhere that he will get actual minutes.

Quick math is 360 minutes/12 games means 30 minutes per appearance. It is tough to succeed playing that sparingly. And it is mostly just because players like Nkunku are really good.
It's always someone else's fault with this lad eh.

See this post:

No it is completely his fault because he was a moron for going to a team with multiple good options in his position and a manager who desperately wants to play some kind of 3-5-2 where there is no natural fit for him.

It doesn't change the fact that I still haven't seen him get a run of starts to show what he can do, and the cameos continue to have lots of promising moments.

It's the second team he's gotten the boot from after not getting appearances.

Maybe there's good reasons he's not getting picked to play.

Just a thought like.
There is a good reason at RBL.

But, our wingers still stink, so we had no excuse. And before you go off about his work ethic, Silva said that in March of 2019, which is after 2 years of not playing, having to go on loan to play, being dropped for players who do little on the back of decent performances and being refused a move so he could not be used. It was a large buildup and he admittedly handled it poorly but so did all three of the clownshow managers we hired.

That you're aware of.

The lad didn't want to be here so why would the manager want to play him and put his faith in the lad? I wouldn't waste my time on a lad who's been angling to leave the last 18 months.

He very well might be better than the likes of Bolasie and Walcott, although in the appearances he had for us besides Limassol I can't think of many good appearances he had in an Everton shirt beyond a few nice turns on the ball.

I think everyone is aware of how bad our wingers are myself.

Are we trying to win games or not?

Also this was his second to last league start:

Plus the Ingerland coaches seem to have had enough of him too.

Seems to be a pattern developing here.

Sure but what evidence did Lookman provide to show he was better?

There's very little evidence of that beyond his purple patch during his loan at RB.

You're surely going to come back with "well he was never given a run". Did he ever earn one? If so, how?

There's lots of evidence both if you believe in stats or if you believe in "me eyes told me."

It just doesn't show up all the time because he didn't play all the time.
