I always thought Vlasic showed something. Scored a few goals in his first season coming from a farmers league. I get why he left as we looked like a totally sinking ship and Allardyce and Silva didn’t instill anyone with confidence but I’d have liked us to have hung onto him

I just find it amusing we can at the same time know that Everton were run like complete crap between Martinez leaving and Carlo coming (if not longer) and still think the good players who didn't work here had nothing to do with the club. It's pretty much completely illogical.

Its also illogical to suggest any of them were working here.

At the time they were moved on cos they couldn't perform, of course they will go away and perform in lesser leagues.

Vlasic never really clicked here but if I'm not mistaken he didn't even get to 1000 total minutes and again, he was 20. A better club at player development would have figured it out without selling him immediately.

He scored twice. Both against Limassol. For some reason I vividly remember him scoring in the league, which never happened and now I’m considering checking myself into a nursing home.

Holgate and Dom both were potentially on their last few months here if Ancelotti doesn't take over when he does. Honestly if we give Silva until the end of the season I don't see anyway Dom does this because the tactics wouldn't let him. He got lucky in a way others haven't.

Oh and Holgate got frustrated with not playing and asked out at a point too.

Given our stunning lack of depth in attacking positions I kind of think they already have despite the questions over them that still exist.
