I do not talk about this very often but, a long time ago (I was about 10) I went off on a camping trip in Ngruawahia. I went with a then-mate, a kid called Ross Pottinger (Potty was his nickname). Anyway, long story short, Potty blubbered the whole trip with pining for home. His homesickness was a dreadful thing and it affected me in that I became aware of it very early in life and it, as a mental pathology, the affliction has interested me ever since. So of course, the very high incidence of it at Finch Farm piques my interest.
And you sound as though you share common interest in it. Good on you! The more Evertonians who climb aboard Finch Farm's proposed 'Combat Homesickness!' campaign train, the better!!
