It's happened to him at RBL too.

So it's either the managers...or the player behind the scenes.

I've said before...don't blame him for wanting to go and get games. But he's either got to fight for a place at a bigger club or play regularly for a Fulham etc.

Yeah I think it's good for him to be at a club like Fulham where he can play regularly. To be fair to him I can see why he went to RBL. He had done well there on loan, but in the end by the time he got back there the club had progressed to a level where it was harder for him to get regular minutes

I think the season after under Sarri he was doing well for Chelsea but then picked up a bad achilles injury which effectively wrote off last season for him. Chelsea stupidly had a post-season friendly arranged in the US in between their last PL game and the Europa League final and he got injured in that match. Considering his talent he's played far too little football. 24 already.

The thing with RLC is that he's never developed to play in a position.

He's 24 but where does he play? Is he a holding player? A CM? An attacking midfielder? Whether it's injuries and game time...but he's regressed massively cos his game hasn't developed.

Also...I think cos of his build, size, and athleticism for his young age he was thrown into the big boys game. Maybe too soon.

That's the thing really. Yes, he probably would've been better to play out wide than Bernard, Bolasie, Walcott. But he did play games for us. He did start some. The managers made a decision whether he was making enough in roads to displace senior players.

He didn't stick around to try.
