Based on his wiki, yes. 10 goals in 45 games for Charlton, 1 in 15 for us and 1 in 2 for Leipzig.

Since playing in the Football League, Bolasie has 27 goals in 265 appearances. Adding his goals up from the top two divisions, he has a mere 15 goals to his name in around 235 games - around 1 goal every 16 games, or between 2 and 3 a season. For an 'exciting' attacking winger, that is a disgusting return of goals, yet was enough to earn him a 27m move to Everton.

He scored more than 1 in 3 when playing in leagues One, Two and the Conference, and 1 in 16 in the Championship and Premier League. lol Send him back down three divisions to find his true home.

Truly shambolic.
Compare that to Kanchelskis : 52 appearances over a season and a half > 20 goals.

:(

Would you describe Kanchelskis as a true winger, though? Certainly a right side player and a lovely one. But a winger? Playing on the touchline, whipping in crosses? Feel like he cut inside into the center of the pitch more often.

I also think Lookman is that type of player as well.

I was just using him as an example of a wide player, who`s everything that Bolasie isn`t :(

Is Bolasie a winger though? He can't cross.

Because the top 6 have midfields that don't give the ball away in dangerous areas 20 times a game.

I think that's Wallcot's biggest contribution, he can keep the ball a little while and let the team come forward. Before him it was like a ping pong game where team had to run backwards immediately after a couple of forward passes. Wallcott reduced it considerably, now Everton can sustain attacks a little longer.

This is one concern with bringing in Fonseca as manager. If you watch Shaktar, all of their midfielders have amazing control of the ball, as it stands i don't think any of our current midfield players would fit into a team the way he wants to play aside from maybe Walcott.

I'd rather Fonseca had spent 200m than Koemoyes though
