This is why i don't quite understand Allerdyce's treatment of him. Look at Tom Davies, his passing decision making will improve the more he plays and he seems to get game time. Allerdyce claims he has to play a not fully fit Bolassie because of his price tag, well we paid a fair bit for Lookman considering his age and the fact he came from league 1. He needed game time to help him improve not shunning into the corner like fat sam seemed to do.
I honestly don't think Davies would have featured so much for Sam if we weren't so light on competent and fully fit senior specialist midfielders.
Ditto Kenny. If Baines were fit I think Cuco would be in at right back whilst we're reintegrating Coleman.
I can't really recall him having a track record of promoting youth across his career.
Yeah there are definitely some positives, I just think that on the whole a move to the Championship would have helped more in terms of the specific development areas for him.
I certainly don't think the Championship would be too easy for him. I've seen nothing from him so far to suggest that he's that good. There are players in the championship at the moment who've achieved a hell of a lot more than he has.
You gotta keep bigging up the average yoots bruh.

Pre Walcott he was the only player who even looked like being capable of taking it past someone. He's got that in his locker whatever you think about him.

But I agree. He's also 20. In flashes you can see his ability but its only been in flashes so far.
I think we probably absolutely got done on the fee for him (a pattern emerges). If we'd paid a couple of million there would be less clamour for his inclusion.

This in a nutshell.
Whilst it has been good to see the flashes, we are going on like he has 10 league goals. Whereas the player who has got 10 league goals get bashed every time he has an average game.
I'm not a huge fan of DCL either. Again he shows some potential but he's hardly lighting up the league either and Niasse is performing far better and I don't rate him either.
I'm not a huge fan of any of our kids. They may turn out OK but I haven't seen any to suggest any are special.
I suppose Lookman is the only one but his decision making and movement needs work plus he's very lightweight.
