Of course del was a flop, he never once nailed down a position in the team. I loved the guy but just because he’s talented doesn’t change the fact he was without any question a flop at Everton. I swear to god some of our fans have the worst memories ever.

Koeman didn't like him because he was to weak to play as a striker, and then didn't press enough. Martinez dropped him, why? I don't know. But Del gave us a massive x factor and was underutilized. When he actually played, he was brilliant.

I loved the guy but when he played he was just as likely to be awful as he was brilliant. He didn't earn the name 'one lung' for no reason. He had one period of about 5 or 6 games during Martinez's first season where he was absolutely bang on it but other than that he's never really been 'brilliant'.

I maintain that he has to be classed as a flop, he didn't play anywhere near enough matches under Martinez or Koeman to be considered anything else.

When he played he was good enough. He was underutilized, not a flop. Oh, how we could have used him when Bolasie went down.

That was another for me of the Koeman's mysteries. Bolasie suffers a big one but you have Del boy to replace him. Yes, Del ran hot
and cold but on his game he was top class. No other player, other than Lukaku, had his ability in the team.

But he goes out of his way to get rid of Del and then picks.... who? EFC had no clue under RK this season about attacking, no pace , no trickery and RK gave away Del. But RK gives an extension to Miralles!!!

Del Boy has had more playing time at Barca this season then he did in a year under RK.

Would like to have him still. Perfect off the bench to help turn a game.

Del was doing a lot more for us at the age Lookman is. I'm still waiting for it to click for him but I echo the thoughts of everyone else here saying the game passes him by.
 
Not convinced by him to be honest. He is definately talented , but still seems too lightweight for this league.
Hope I'm wrong because I'd love to see him establish himself, but I suspect he'll be moved on sooner rather than later.
