2017/18 Ademola Lookman

I now suspect that he left to get away from some of his team mates.
Wise move. Hopefully the mixture of bottlers, has-beens and bad eggs - Schneiderlin, Williams, Jagielka, Martina, Bolasie to name but a few - will be gone by the time Ademola comes back, and it goes without saying our corrupt brown envelope trading manager Sam too.

At last night's event Baines stated how he was shocked at Lookman going to Leipzig and that he has bags of talent. He said Lookman could "really, really take off" He HAS, to Leipzig, thanks to Allardyce.

Hope he returns when we get a proper manager
Allerdyce had a quote in that article in the Echo the other day in relation to this that made it sound like he wants Lookman to fail at Leipzig just so he can say to him that he should have gone to Derby. it is no wonder he wanted to leave tbh.

You can't accuse jags of being a bottler. The times I've seen him throw any part of his body in the way if a pass or shot for the cause. He may be finding it harder to get in the way now, what with him being 50, but bottler he ain't.

3 yrs. the only way he's leaving is if the fat one stays and i'm pretty sure there will be a massive revolt if that happens.

..unless the club want to cash in on him. Buy for £10m, sell for £20m. I’m not advocating this, but it must be a strategy to sell these recruitments off at a profit if possible.

Okay, I actually liked Deolufeu, but lets not pretend that Watford win meant much of anything beyond that Chelsea went down to 10 men early, Watford still only managed to make it 1-1 after 82 minutes, and Deolufeu's contributions to the scoresheet were a dive with less contact than Niasse, and a deflection. Maybe give a few games against full strength teams where he has to defend some more before declaring him the one that got away.

I find it funny that one game for Watford has made people forget the few years he spent here. And also his mixed bag of a loan spell at AC Milan.

We would defo get a profit on Lookman if sold, i have heard numerous journo's on stuff in the past talking about how highly rated he is within football. Id rather we kick Bolassie into touch and use Lookman though.

He was the man of the match against Chelsea. A team that has been hammering us for fun lately. Still not good enough. No wonder he wanted to leave. He's not a defender.

..I think it’s reasonable to ask the question regarding who is the most effective of the two. I do think Lookman could take a leaf out of Walcott’s book in simplifying his game. Look to get beyond your marker and create as well as working hard to get into goalscoring positions, especially when the ball is on the other side of the pitch. I feel Lookman often plays without purpose. He’s terrific when he runs directly at defenders.

He will be a huge success at Leipzig and his agent will sell him in the summer to a top 4 side
Mosh will say `what do you do we tried to keep him must be the voodoo`

They could but it would make me despair of the future of our club even more. If we have anyone in a decision making position that thinks someone like bolasie will offer more to us than lookman over next 5+ years we are in massive trouble going forward.

Barkley Stones Lukaku ..... Pickford and Lookman next ... utter despair
Whats Moshfraudi going to do when he has sold all the family silver ?
