2017/18 Ademola Lookman

He will be a huge success at Leipzig and his agent will sell him in the summer to a top 4 side
Mosh will say `what do you do we tried to keep him must be the voodoo`
I suspect Mosh-man will steer clear of any 'witchdoctory' narrative in future. I reckon it'll be more-like "we let Ademola go because the poor lad was homesick - he longed to be in Germany".

..unless the club want to cash in on him. Buy for £10m, sell for £20m. I’m not advocating this, but it must be a strategy to sell these recruitments off at a profit if possible.
If it is a strategy it's a bad one. If we offload the likes of Schneiderlin, Bolasie, Niasse, Keane, ad nauseum, we are likely to take a bath on any deal. No way we would recover half the outlay on these wasters.

..absolutely, but the strategy of buying low risk, low cost youngsters has already been fruitful because of John Stones. It only takes one to make the strategy worthwhile. Lookman and Holgate both look good investments as do Hornby and Gibson further down the chain.

He scored on his debut for us, then did not a lot for 6months.

Granted hes NEVER been given a run in the side, which is baffling, I just dont understand it, young lads need games, all players need games, we have/had the likes of Vlasic, Lookman, Sandro, Klaassen, Besic not getting any game time AT ALL, why werent they playing for the U23s? We currently have Tosun "dropped" for 2 games, why wasnt he playing in the U23 to adapt to the pace of the English game?

And its not just Sam, Koeman did it as well, we have a reserve team for a freaking reason.

Our managers are complete tosh?

This is why i think the next person in charge has got to be more of a Poch type coach than an all out manager. It's obvious we have have some talented youngsters at the club and we need someone who can bring them on and who isn't scared to play them in the first team. If we can get a proper recruitment team setup within the club then whoever is in charge can just get on with coaching the players.

He looks the business on occasions, but incredibly naive regarding his responsibilities and positional play. He came on as sub at Southampton and on numerous occasions left Kenny totally exposed.

Currently, I would say, he’s simply not good enough.

I am somewhat nonplussed by this as well.
I guess we have to conclude that Fat Koeman and Fat Sam are twerps.

If he demands to leave in the summer, that tells you all you need to know about the toxic cloud that is lingering over the club right now.

But that can be quickly fixed by choosing the right people to run the club - D of F with vision and actual organizational skills, and a proper modern manager that can innovate and prep the players to play a better, more effective style of football.

I imagine they don't actually want to play for the under 23s.

I'm worried about that Steve Walsh thinks thats a clever strategy - cos Chelsea and others do it - stockpile young talent and sell them on, i sometimes feel like he manages things like that iPhone game Football Agent

Walsh tries to be Chelsea with far less money. Sam tries to be Swansea with far different players. Just be Everton you goons.

He was the man of the match against Chelsea. A team that has been hammering us for fun lately. Still not good enough. No wonder he wanted to leave. He's not a defender.
I have no doubt he could play well against a team with only 10 men who had to defend a lot, and then press more men forward and be vulnerable on the counter.

I have no doubt most any winger would love that.

Del Boy and Lennon had good games, especially Del, who worked hard and scored against Chelski.

Lookman came on and scored a fine goal. Why can't Everton score decent goals? Why don't the players shoot?

I am beginning to think that there is something amiss at EFC. The treatment of Del Boy was crazy; ditto Lookman; paying millions for Tosun and then saying he is not ready to play; the failure to stick with a fixed team; no left-back; crazy transfer fees.

Fergie wrote that the manager' s most important job is to create confidence among the players. Is Sam doing that?
