We're in the process of migrating to a new ad partner.

Please bear with, it'll take me a little while to fine tune placements/user permissions to get the ads as you expect/become used to.

[Update] After a 2 week trial, we binned the new ad partner and went back to the one we've used for 6 years. There has been no changes.

At first I didn't like them, but sort of getting used to them/I now quite like the behind the thread style ones, pages load a bit quicker? Lets give them a few days and see what we think. Can always revert back to the other style we had that are more static if people prefer.

You quite like this? Top and bottom ads have never bothered me but this middle moving band is triggering lol

Static ones are better aye, the moving ones are very jarring

It's getting that when I pull up this most magnificent site, I now have to scroll just to see past the first thread in the forum. Rest of the page is ads and livescores (and we're not even playing).

The number of ads within threads haven't changed mate, always 2 at intervals within threads. It's

On desktop, its one ad after every 3rd and 10th post.
On mobile, its one ad every 5th and 10th post.

The format of the ad (like background scrolling style) has changed though - jury is out on that one as to whether static ads are better than the behind page one.

I have a bigun appear beneath the banner and above the livwhenever escore. Is it just me?















Also I now have a new phone - still samsung (android 13) and while using Samsung browser whenever I reply to a message, my curser is stuck inside the quoted message box and there's no way of getting it out. Once I start typing, a double return sets me outside into the proper position.

not just this new phone ... it also happened to my new phone 2 months ago which is now somewhere atvthe bottom of the grand union canal ffs.

Yeah I know its not to do with the ads, but it came to my attention today while replying on here after setting up the phone. Doesnt seem to occur using Firefox (which I'm reluctant to use just for one website alone) and never occurs on my 4 year old phone. Previously (before the previous new phone went into the canal) I was wondering if it was a fault with the phone. Glad I'm not the only one!

Ask the Internet to sort itself out Danny la!
