We're in the process of migrating to a new ad partner.

Please bear with, it'll take me a little while to fine tune placements/user permissions to get the ads as you expect/become used to.

[Update] After a 2 week trial, we binned the new ad partner and went back to the one we've used for 6 years. There has been no changes.

When a page loads the ads come later instead of rendering at the same time, so I’m clicking on ads by accident when trying to click threads (or is that by design?)
On safari for iOS btw.

We don't (I don't think) get any cash for clicks mate and we definitely don't want pages loading fragmented.

We moved to a new server today that's made the site a tad quicker so maybe that's why. (Website loading quicker than ads that are hosted away from our server)

Seems ok for me but will do some testing

That’s what was happening to me but I’ve just slowed down my Pavlov’s fingers and allow the page to load fully before engaging.

I understand the need to generate revenue and it will take an adjustment on my part but as of yet I find the ad placements annoying. Maybe I just hate change, I am old after all.

Going to run a poll next week mate asking a few questions on ads.

I've not added any extra to within threads (it's always been 2 and the one that used to stick to the bottom of screen isn't on at the moment).

The within thread ads on mobile style has changed from a static permanent ad placement to like a rolling background one that initially I hated but now don't mind at all. Just want everyone to give them a few days before running a poll because nobody likes change.

Yeah it was but it loads faster on the new server and I don’t have to wait that extra fraction of a second for the ad to load.
This plus taking a breath means I don’t click it now

Yeah that top one on mobile seems to load last doesnt it and is a bit of a ball ache. Will sort.

That appear in the middle of the pages and break the text up as you scroll past?

They are absolutely horrific. They are ruining the forum for me at the minute. Can I do anything about it?

Break up text? Mine only every appear between posts and cause no issue.
I'm on Android Chrome

No mate, @mmmmsnouts getting exactly the same , posted in the parallax thread
Edit: proper PITA as well as they take time to load so I've been trying to watch a goal or respond and they pop
