I think jumping onto the pitch to celebrate a "winner" agaisnt Bournemouth like it was a cup winner was a bit, err, well...

But ultimately, we lost not because of fans, but because we didn't defend properly.

It's passion, though. I stress it's not my thing, but we go from looking like we've threw away a lead to getting a winner with the last kick of the game.

Are we only allowed to celebrate goals against the top 10 now? Top 5?

I was still fumin' at 3-2.

Should never have got to that stage. We shoulda been miles outta sight by the time their first went in. We became so lacksadaisical and complacent in the first 20 mins of that 2nd half that a result like that was a probability more than a remote possibility.

We got what we deserved today. Quite possibly slightly more than we deserved (I'd have given that penalty shout that they got turned down, tbh)

That'll cost us, that result.

I'm not lookin' forward to 'boro. Think we'll struggle up there tbh. Today's result'll give them heart.

Think the difference between today and previous games is we lacked that little bit of quality and clarity in our decision making particularly on the break. Several times we just made the wrong decision Kone at the beginning of the second half when Barkley was free to his right particularly springs to mind. 3-0 and Bournemouth would not have come back into the game.

Defensively we are vulnerable unless we are at our very best. As such 2-0 is not a conclusive lead and credit to Bournemouth for never giving up.

On the plus side the 7th time we have scored 3 or more this season.

Let's go for the League Cup, a trip to Wembley and a nice little piece of silver, you don't get any of that stuff for finishing 4th, regardless of what Arsenal fans say.

We learned last year that we haven't got the squad for Europa, so finishing 6th only makes the next season harder.

Phew, that's made me feel loads better.

Of course not.

I celebrate wildly just like the next man, it's just that a pitch invasion was OTT for me.

Not much I can say that won't be said by others

It'll be a long drive home tomorrow

Oh well, roll on Tuesday I guess

Just out of interest and maybe spark conversation, what would you do different mate? I know you said to me Martinez get someone to help with the defensive side, but do what?

On paper it's a good solid defence (and a keeper) so what's going wrong back there?

I'm not saying they should have ran on the pitch, and it's something I wouldn't do, but we should be able to keep Bournemouth out for 30 seconds.
Yes, we should, but as soon as mccarthy went off we looked vulnerable, at the time I thought cleverly would have been a much better option than osman/Gibson, wow was I wrong, but all in all we were second best for most of the 2nd half.
But there's a load of blerts, which every club has by the way, waiting to run on the pitch/throw flares etc.... Those spakkas cost us today, more importantly how do the fans heading back feel.....
Was there extra seconds added onto the game as a result of a pitch invasion. Too right. But as long as they managed to get on the pitch and everyone can see there better blues than we are, then well done!!!!

In reality there pissed and beaked off their tits, and unfortunately today they've cost us, and cost us big time.

We'll done all the lads and lasses on the way back from the south coast who managed to refrain from invading the pitch. I hope you treat your "pals" who have no restraint respectfully.
